26 октября 2011 года Национальный исследовательский технологический университет “МИСиС” в партнерстве с Российским представительством Издательства Кембриджского Университета и Офисом английского языка Отдела прессы и культуры посольства США в г. Москве проводят конференцию “Английский для специальных целей”.
На конференции с презентациями выступят известные специалисты в области преподавания английского языка Дженнифер Райс (США) и Джереми Дэй (Великобритания).
Jennifer Rice is an instructor of speaking & listening skills and an online teacher trainer for the Best Practices in English for Specific Purposes E-Teacher course at the University of Oregon’s American English Institute. She has taught ESL / EFL in universities in South Korea, Japan, and the USA, and has presented in over seven countries. She recently conducted an online webinar for a worldwide audience entitled “Best Practices in teaching English for Specific Purposes” through the US Department of State’s Office of English Language Programs. Her current research interests include curriculum development for EGAP (English for General Academic Purposes) programs, as well as the assessment of academic oral and aural skills.
Jeremy Day is Series Editor of “Cambridge English for ...”, which has ESP titles on Nursing, Engineering, Job-hunting, the Media, Marketing, HR and Science. His seven Teacher’s Books include International Legal English, Flightpath (Aviation English) and Dynamic Presentations. He is co-author of the advanced level of Active Grammar, a newCLIL-based grammar series.
